Six hundred sixty-six horses for the Amalfi coast road
The 2024 Lamborghini Urus S puts 666 horsepower through a twin-turbo V8 that feels almost absurd in an SUV body — until you take the A1 toward Orvieto or push south past Naples and realise exactly why the format works. Five proper seats, a usable boot, and enough ground clearance to shrug off Roman cobblestones and ramp-style underground garages near Termini. It corners flat, accelerates with genuine ferocity, and still absorbs the kind of broken tarmac you'll meet on the SS218 through the Castelli Romani hills without punishing your passengers.
For families or groups who want presence and performance on a multi-day route — say, Rome to the Amalfi Coast with an overnight in Ravello, or a week splitting time between the city and Tuscan border towns — the Urus S is the obvious choice over a two-seat supercar. The cabin seats five adults in comfort, the adaptive suspension softens for highway stretches, and the raised driving position makes navigating tight village roads around Frascati or Castel Gandolfo considerably less stressful than doing it in a low-slung GT. It's a car that works as hard on the autostrada as it does pulling up to a hotel on Via Veneto.
The daily rate is €900 with a €10,000 security deposit required at handover. We can arrange delivery to Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino, your hotel or residence — note that Rome's historic centre falls within the ZTL restricted traffic zone, so handover points are typically set just outside those camera-controlled boundaries. If you're planning a longer rental covering southern coastal roads or a run into Umbria, ask about multi-day terms when you book. This is a car that rewards distance.
From €900 per day.
